First time there, food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic.
I’ve eaten here 3 times already and everything I’ve tried is fantastic. Chef Joe is super creative and his dishes are as tasty as they are beautiful. The restaurant is GORGEOUS and super cozy. The wine & cocktail selections are a great variety, there’s definitely something for everyone. Already looking forward to our fourth visit!
The Brushmill has finally reopened, definitely worth the wait! Beautifully decorated, we sat at the upstairs bar which happens to have wine on tap! Chef Joe Roberto out did himself ( again), the duck with Camembert onions, beets, gooseberry, what a winning combination! The King cut prime rib was one big hunk of delicious ness, medium rare, cooked perfectly! Very friendly staff, really enjoyed chatting with Patrick, Krysta, Aaron and always a treat to see Chef Roberto!
We just had the bast meal. We ate in the tavern area and the food was amazing. The service was the absolute best. The renovation to this place is amazing it’s so beautiful. This Chester gem had been thoughtfully redone by Jason. Krysta was very nice to come by and check on us. And of course the food. Try it all!
Wonderful and great ambience!!
It's surreal… you feel you are no longer in today’s world as you walk across the covered bridge overlooking the waterfall as you enter the old historic 1800’s mill building. Greeted immediately and our interest in the mill led us to our wandering through the restaurant looking at the view from various rooms. Upstairs is more formal and the Downstairs in the pub is more casual. Although there is no dress code, we chose the pub. Had a very private table on the side of a beautiful real fireplace that still 'roars' in the winter months! It was perfect. The food was excellent. We shared an appetizer and each had an entree with drinks on our early Sunday dinner. And the wine library..over the top. Patrick was the most gracious of bartenders. It is definitely worth the small detour on the way to or from Boston - New York.
