Rogis on Main

I was pretty excited when I heard a pierogi place opened in Middletown
I came for the pierogi and they were yummy!

A few reviews have commented on the lack of taste. Let me help you to elevate the potato cheese pierogi: order a side of carmelized onions! My husband and I agree, that's what made the pierogi awesome! Like another reviewer, I serve my own homemade pierogie with chopped onion in the butter while sautéing ; I also add some sauted onion to my potato cheese filling. I make pierogi for family gatherings and everyone prefers their own family recipe don't they? It's just a time consuming process and I appreciate finding some on a menu that are also yummy! Rogis' pierogi are well filled and in my opinion just need the onion to bring out the best!

I'll admit I was initially put off seeing photos of their prepared pierogi as it looks deep fried not sauted. After speaking with the owner, he explained it is not deep fried. You can also order your pierogi boiled

I wish they had a sampler option or ability to split an order of 5 as I would have tried one of the other fillings offered!

My husband opted for the kielbasa plate and also thought it was delish: kielbasa, 3 pierogi and a roll! The kielbasa was split and grilled. I tried a bite and it was quite good!

There are several tables for 2 along the wall while the opposite side along an exposed brick wall offers larger seating options. It was very clean and service ( self order at counter) was friendly and quick.

My friend and I met here for a late breakfast / early lunch.
The food was incredible! I got the keilbasa with roll. Perfectly cooked. My friend ordered the mac & cheese appetizer and she loved it.
The staff were absolutely lovely. The prices were very reasonable.

We stopped in for lunch on a week day. Setvice was fast and very friendly. The pierogi and kielbasa were delicious, and cooked perfectly. I wish my grandmother could make pierogi this amazing. The mizeria was great, and coffee was perfection.

Having seen the article in Middletown Press about this new Polish Restaurant, I had to check it out and I was not disappointed. While small, there seems to be ample seating. I enjoyed looking out on Main St. as I waited for my meal. You place your order at the counter and it is delivered to your table with cloth napkin and shiny real metal silverware. Nice touch. I'm not used to having to deal with the parking situation in downtown Middletown and I cant remember last time I used a parking meter but that was a minor inconvenience. To top off my experience I met Mike the owner and enjoyed talking to him. I really enjoyed my experience at Rogi's on Main and I encourage you to try them as well. You will not be disappointed.

Was so excited to hear about this much welcome addition to Main St Middletown's food mix. We enjoyed some tasty traditionals like kielbasa and galumpki plus scrumptious pierogi's with both classic and fun, fused fillings (philly cheese steak and buffalo chicken pierogi's are a must try)! Topped everything off with a hazelnut latte made with fresh ground and brewed espresso. All in a quaint Cafe atmosphere; Polish eats did not disappoint!!
