Five Guys

Address: 28 Spencer Plains Rd, Old Saybrook, CT 06475, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Best fries around and one large order easily feeds four people. Fries taste just like homemade. My kid says they have the best shakes around. He loves the Banana Oreo flavor. Burgers are tasty and we like the variety of toppings like grilled mushrooms and onions. We enjoy eating peanuts while our food is cooking. A little pricey so I'm not here alot, but it's a nice treat!”

Cuckoo's Nest Mexican Food

Address: 1712 Boston Post Rd, Old Saybrook, CT 06475, USA

Restaurant

“Stopped in on a Tuesday evening after work to meet with family traveling in the area. Nice local place. I had the burritos which were tasty but a bit under flavored, could have done with a bit of the red sauce inside the burritos as well. The rice I thought should have been a bit more cooked as it was more firm then what I normally expect to get when I order a rice dish. The beans were a bit bland, but it's what I kind of expected after the rice. I found the salsa served with the pre-dinner chips to be just right in amount of kick and not overpowering. Our server was very prompt and did a good job of giving us time to talk before and after the meal. Overall I rate the food as OK, the decor as good and the servers as very good. If in the area and you have a craving for south of the border food, stop in and give it a try - it's worth giving a try to see if it meets your expectations.”
