“Best sushi in CT! We had the sashimi platter and it was a beautiful variety of fresh and delicious fish. The cocktails were unique and tasty. The atmosphere at Nori was really nice, and we sat in a comfy booth. Everyone working there was super friendly and we ended up having a great night out! Will definitely be back!!”

“Food was excellent! Everything we had was on point! Seriously impressed! I don’t understand why the dining room was empty for dinner on a Friday night- maybe it has something to do with not serving alcohol. We had been dying to go and am so happy we made it! I will be a regular customer!”

“If you’re willing to pay a little more for pasta, this is a good spot. It’s pretty expensive for the portion size but I enjoyed my pasta (got tagliatelle). The pasta is cooked al dente, good if you like it that way and not soft pasta. The roasted tomato sauce for the tagliatelle was superb! The fried pasta— is pretty good, but could use some more seasoning, as it tastes somewhat bland. If that’s your speed, you’ll probably enjoy it. FYI, for dine in, you pay inside at the register for your meal and they’ll give you a number for a table, indoors or outdoors.”

“Very good service! Perfect noodle portions. Tom yum was on the milder side, so if you’re used to more spice; just ask for it. Excellent toppings and seafood quality. Would highly recommend”

“Best lobster roll I had all summer. Brioche bun was toasted perfectly. Lots of lobster. Excellent fries, large breaded chicken fingers were very tasty. Fresh food! I was impressed and the gal that owns it reopened to feed us at 630. I’d give 6 stars if I could”

“Great little beach, watch the tides..... Covid has them restricted on capacity, so go early and have your $25 ready. One of the few places a non-local can get to the beach.”

“Way better than the average Econo-Lodge! They have made a welcome conversion converted to laminate floors. I have always been wary of carpets, particularly in lower rated hotels. Very nice room and nice people.”

“My family and I enjoyed brunch at Fresh Salt on Christmas and New Year’s Day. The brunch buffet both times had wonderful selections. Pasta station, soup station, carving station and omelette station and waffle station. Soup included parsnip which had a delicate flavor, creamy and smooth. The carving station had a choice between prime rib, leg of lamb and turkey. The self serve had cold seafood of smoked salmon, oysters, and much more. Hot buffet of fresh ravioli, swordfish and vegetables. Wonderful choice of breads and pastries. Delicious variety of salads including gold beet salad. Good selection of top shelf liquor. Wait staff was perfect! Very attentive and quick. Beautiful decorations and wonderful, peaceful views. I will always go back to Fresh Salt.”

“Cozy atmosphere, friendly service. Disappointed with the coffee-diner taste.Chicken salad was delicious but the tomatoes had no flavor so not a great salad. I should have tried a Paleo dish!”

“Wow! It is not often I eat out and say the food is as good as what I can make. We are traveling and happened to stop in here and are very happy we did! The beef on my burger was over an inch thick, cooked to my request of well done and so juicy. Really good onion rings, sweet potato fries and tasty doing sauces. Don't be in a hurry because this place is popular! Plan on taking a seat and enjoying the conversation and good food”

“Love this cafe! Although there are not a lot of choices, the food is terrific and fresh, the coffee is the best, and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. I had an apricot croissant..filled with fresh apricots. My friend had a yogurt parfait to die for. Sandwiches are great too.”

“We were looking for a good CT style (warm) lobster roll, and we weren't disappointed! The lobster pieces were delicious - some wonderful claw meat. They had some decent wines by the glass or bottle, though nothing local (and there are excellent Connecticut wines out there, by the way). Ambience is relaxed; nice view of the river marina. Glad we found this spot!”
