G Zen

I wish I could rate 10 stars because I cannot be more impressed by my first visit to G zen! I stumbled upon this gem when I started working in Branford but I never had the time to visit. I went to G zen for the first time today for dinner, we ordered the feisty monkey, tacos, bruschetta, and Tempe creole. All of these dishes exceeded my expectations from the flavor pairings, to the perfect timing between each dish all thanks to our server Smitty!!! He immediately made a personable connection with us and gave us amazing recommendations. Smitty is ABSOLUTELY the BEST SERVER I have ever had. I have been a server and bartender for 5+ years now and he was incredible! I wish every restaurant would have a Smitty. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better... the manager Sabrina came over to our table to ensure we had a phenomenal experience (which we definitely did!) and let us know about their rewards program. A restaurant that lets you eat your way to a discount? YES PLEASE! I cannot wait to come back I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant ???? their amazing food ???? and Smitty their amazing server ????????

Good little restaurant, got the breakfast burrito and it was wonderful. I don't usually eat meals without meat. So to find a place for my wife that caters to how she eats that we can both enjoy is wonderful.

Amazing vegan/vegetarian menu. Prices are on the mid to higher end but well worth it. Accommodating staff with a quick to sit community table running up the middle of the restaurant. Will return if in the area.

Great vibe here. Food is delicious! Chef's use of spices is masterful. Just didnt like the roll, dense, heavy, hard to eat. Service was excellent. Try the Sangria!

Went here for the first time for dinner and really enjoyed it. The soups were really good but the split pea soup could have used a little more seasoning. The stuffed cabbage special was delicious but a little expensive. The sweet potato enchiladas were really good but a tad sweet. The brown rice could have been fresher and the beans needed salt but when you put all the toppings together it was a super delicious meal! Plus the staff were extremely nice and the service was great. Overall a really tasty fun vegan meal. Looking forward to coming back for brunch!
