Blackie's Hot Dog Stand

This place has been here since my parents were children. Their relish is legendary, their hot dogs are filling,and their milkshakes are phenomenal. Definitely a top local restaurant in the area.

A classic, pretty sure my grandfather was getting hotdogs at this place when he was my age. It's nothing fancy, there's no fries, just good dogs, decent burgers, chips, sodas, and milkshakes. Oh and the relish of course ;) Bring cash!

Went their Sunday afternoon, He had hitdogs I had hot dogs the day before, so I got a cheeseburger. He loves their dogs, cheeseburger wasn't anything to brag about. But the cheeseburger cost $4 lettuce and tomato is 50 Cent each extra. I thought that was kind of crazy. The girl that waited on us was really nice. And it was nice and clean in there very friendly atmosphere.

Been a customer since the early 70's. My order is always.... "two and a small Birch Beer"... in and out in minutes...even if you eat there! Simple, great hot dogs with a very nice spicy brown mustard... but the relish is their thing! Great lunch on the run or when you're running your weekend errands. But remember... they're always closed on Fridays.
