Guilford Mooring

People drive a hundred miles to Newport or The Cape; why. Guilford Mooring has that Connecticut charm you can't get anywhere else. Great food, great staff, beautiful views and they have paint nights events!

We went there for a birthday luncheon for my brother. We were a party of eleven. The location is nice, the food was delicious and our server, Madison was excellent. We requested to have our tables rearranged so everyone could be closer together. The hostess, Jessica copped an attitude as if it was an inconvenience, but was accommodating. The restaurant was not really busy. We will look for another venue for next year because of that. One bad apple.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because of the amazing service!..Tom, out server was FABULOUS! He was attentive and entertaining. The food was super yummy. The lobster tempura was amazing. Great food and service with a view of the bay.

Fantastic place! Great server! Food was excellent! Place has hopping with people. Only about a 15 minute wait. Parking was full but clean, so was the restaurant! Bathrooms were clean! The waiter was great, took great care of our 2 grandchildren. Brought drinks right away, brought kids food out quickly so they could eat! Really nice place!

Love the location. Interior is very loud and kind of cold, lacking ambience. I had Linguine & White Clam sauce of which I am an expert ????. Unfortunately it was rather bland. The clams were great but they added a large amount of canned chopped clams too that didn't add anything to the dish. Maybe next time it will be better
