One of the best pizza spots in New England!
The pies being turned out here at the rendezvous are unique unto themselves... The Circa 1800s bread oven transformed into a pizza oven early in its life produce a unique charred crust it's unlike any other I have come across... The dodo has a unique kind of crisp to it in a sort of readiness it's still somehow being thin and light. The sauce on this pie compliments the cheese which is rich in a little salty... Tucked away in the back of this little unassuming spot is the gastronomical revelation if you ever have yourself a moment even a second if you consider yourself a pizza enthusiast or fanatic then this is a must stop you cannot go wrong with anything that you order here. Pro tip: order a plain with just garlic (simple is sometimes perfect)
Great pizza and friendly staff. Their pizza is one of a kind. Make sure you bring cash and order early on a Friday or Saturday night, as you'll easily have close to a 45 minute to an hour wait time. Their pizza is worth the wait.
It was my first time there working at 290 Pratt Street; the pizza was great No it was Awesome! I was a little worried after seeing many pies come out on the burnt side in My opinion but every customer was excited and happy with their pie; I was lucky because it's generally a two hour wait time especially on weekends - thanks for feeding me in 20 minutes; I was on an unofficial break as I was hungry.
Small, cash only, they do a ton of take out.
Oven is from the 1890's.
Great selection of pie toppings.
Simple pizza, soda and small selection of beer.
Guys working there are friendly enough.
