BK’ Chicken and Waffles New Haven

I got the original, and the waffle was good. My issue was the wings- a little too salty and the amount wasn't worth the money. I paid extra for white meat and expected four wings. I got four wing pieces, which amounted to two wings. Not happy about that. Also, I wish you could choose a breast as a white meat choice. This was my first time trying it, so I can't speak to any of the other items on the menu. I want to go back and try the fish and grits. Will report back...

Waitress was very nice. Food came out quick. The chicken and waffles was so good and fresh.

First time here. We ordered The Original (buttermilk waffle with fried chicken leg and thigh) and The Big Apple (apple and caramel waffle with fried chicken leg and thigh), a side of corn bread, and garlic parmesan fries. To drink, we each had a Tiger Woods (half sweet tea/lemonade)
Everything was delicious. Staff was very friendly. They have separate fryers for their shellfish menu items so, I did not have to worry about my shellfish allergy! ???? Super pleased about that. We'll definitely be back. Pleasantly surprised to learn that they are open until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays!

the food here is amazing! I need to know how they get their chicken so crispy. staff was great. good place to eat anytime of the day. nice black owned business in the heart of the city.
