Stumbled upon this place on my visit to CT during my spring break, I have ordered their classic Ramen and boy it was good! A perfect balance of spice and fat, the Broth was very creamy but not too overwhelming that you can't finish it. The meat was very tender and the noodles were perfect! They also have one of the most friendly staff I ever met in a restaurant.
This tiny joint has an expansive menu of dumplings, noodle dishes as bubble tea. It’s super affordable, less than $10 for a typical dish, with large portions that will probably leave you with leftovers. The tabletops are cracked...they’re not putting any money into the decor, which is bare bones, but if that keeps the prices low I’m cool with it.
The service is also good...quick and friendly.
Every time we go to New Haven we have to stop here. Great portions and it's cheap. Service and atmosphere aren't all that great, but that's also part of the charm.
The place is adorable and the food is well cooked. However, the Wok I had was drenched in peanut sauce which put me off from eating the other half of the dish. Fairly priced. The waiters there are very rude though and barely spoke. Said they couldn't split our check. I'd probably come back, but not with a large group again.
Coconut soup with noodles was great! So if you are a fan of noodles I recommend it.
But for sure it’s not the neatest place...
