Great place. Great coffee. Ryan has tons of knowledge when it comes to 3rd wave coffee!
Consistently the best place in town! Meticulously prepared coffee and pastries and a great overall vibe. Don't get discouraged if it takes a couple minutes to prepare your pour-over - this place has the best coffee in town and it's always well worth a wait.
If you are an aging hippie this is a spot that will make you feel cool! The coffee is tasty and the staff is nice.
Some of the best coffee in the area, with a great selection that even includes a range of CBD-infused coffees. Internet is great, you can work fine however crowded. This place is essentially my unofficial office
Coffee-wise, they're one of, if not the strongest game in New Haven. They have artistic decor against a brick walled backdrop, mismatched chairs, and your grandmother's old couch. The hipster vibe is strong with this one. However, their seating availability can be sparse. If you need an electrical outlet, your only option is being crammed against a side bar on a stool with minimal space (where at most 4 people can fit), on the one couch, or at the back table (which is about 2 feet from the bathroom and receives the full array of the accompanying smells). While I can usually get a spot, a couple times I've walked in and just had to immediately turn around and walk out - no where to sit. However, if you're looking for a good quality, "Yale grad student"-y coffee experience, this is a great place.
