Big Green Truck Takeout

Despite all the great New Haven options, You should consider making this your go to pizza place. The food is terrific and the people couldn’t be more helpful and nice. Recently I ordered something online and when I picked it up it wasn’t entirely correct. It was probably my fault because I had called them to change the order. Despite this they remade the pizza and drove it across town and delivered it to the house.

Delicious! Excellent assortment cooked perfectly! Friendly and accommodating staff. We highly recommend and look forward to hiring them again!!

The Big Green Pizza Truck catered our wedding and it was loved by all. Not only was the pizza absolutely amazing, but there was a wide variety of pizzas for everyone. They were also great to work with ahead of time and were very reasonably priced. They made everything easy and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Really good, ordered the bbq pizza, didn't expect the onions on it. Was very happily surprised. I'm gluten free, and the gluten free pizza went above my expectations.

We had our party today and they were so awesome!

Arrived ON.THE.DOT (points)

Had no trouble navigating through the back yard.

Were incredible pleasant and accommodating with special requests and dietary restrictions.

PIZZA WAS LEGIT! Not kidding-we are old school I-Talians and this was like Wooster Street on wheels.

Everybody RAVED... like, the party was 8 hours ago and I’m still getting texts.

These people just know what they’re doing. You worry about nothing. Brought out the pizzas and salads- noticed we were cutting the cake so they discreetly asked if we would like our gelato... cappuccino etc

We haven’t even HAD our party yet but the customer service alone at Big Green Truck ? deserves 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recognition.

We’ve weighed out several options with different pizza trucks for our kids upcoming birthday and honestly, every contract looked like a mortgage application.

We came across a lot of stipulations that didn’t give us much peace of mind in our date and with everything going on, we were just hoping to find a family owned company who made it easy for us and with a phone call on a wimb, we contacted Liane at BGT and she’s was so incredibly calm, kind, helpful and EASY to work with so we just had to go with them.

Their contract is fair, simple and even priced in lower than other similar operations.

So far all correspondences are answered more than satisfactory and in a very timely fashion. They are just so chill... like “we got it don’t worry”- the calm in today’s storm.

I will most certainly repost an updated review after our party with lots of pics and I’m sure many rave reviews from our kids and guests to go with it! We’re really looking forward to the party!
