    Blue State Coffee is a small and central cafe in New Haven. I came here with my wife to get a take away coffee. We both ordered a Cappuccino and they offer it with different types of milk. Even though the service was not especially friendly it came quick and the coffee was good. I liked the glassware coffee extractor as decoration while you wait for your coffee. They have some small tables where you will find lots of students working with their laptops or chatting. All in all it's a nice atmosphere and one can get good coffee in the medium price segment and experience of students life style around Yale University.

    Coffee is robust and pure. Exactly what you want from a small shop that specializes in mostly coffee.

    The coffee was fine, but I ordered a bagel sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese, and neither bagel was toasted! Why would you not toast a bagel with cc?
