So happy this place is near by, really great food and the owner is very nice! Highly recommend giving it a try, meat is cooked perfectly and they use spices really well. As a middle easterner I can vouch for the authenticity of flavors!
I have not eaten Döner this good in the entire Tri State Area. Overall a very clean place. The owners are super nice and polite to everyone. Also they’re fries are the best I’ve ever eaten. If you haven’t tried it yet, I wouldn’t wait any longer.
I went here yesterday and honestly it was one of the best meals i've ever had. The food itself was incredible and big portions for a good price. I had a great conversation with a worker and the overall service was great. Good clean environment and easy parking. Would recommend for everyone!
Takes me back to Istanbul that homemade bread is wonderful...the word authentic comes to mind. Quality ingredients and care show through ..not mass market shortcuts that are prevalent in other seemingly similar but vastly different places (gyro guys). A nice addition to the diversity of New Haven. Fatih is a wonderful host.
When I curiously popped in for lunch the owner was happy to enthusiastically answer all my questions as I mulled over the menu. I finally settled on a lamb doner wrap that proved to be a delectable blend of good quality meat, fresh vegetables, all topped off with a traditional "German" style sauce.
Between the very friendly service and the tasty menu, this is a wonderful addition to the city. When you come here, just make sure you remember to ask for extra sauce with your order - it's great for dipping your fries!
