Haven Hot Chicken

This is simply the best Nashville chicken in town. Not only the spices and the 'crunch' impact is on point, but the coleslaw is the greatest element in the dish that elevates the flavor of the sandwich overall.

I really love the generous amount of the fries they provide in a combo. However, I would ask them to ask for less salt if it's possible.

If you come in as two to get a good decent meal, order a combo and one solo sandwich. You'll go belly-up with a good finger lickin' :P

My husband and I came to Haven Hot Chicken for the first time and we were given such a warm greeting as we entered. The server was very patient as this was our first time and she assured us of what the different spice levels were like. I picked the country style chicken and waffles and my husband picked the medium level sandwich combo. We were advised to sit in our truck (due to COVID) and we had our food handed to us via curbside. Everything was nicely packed. They do not have indoor/outdoor seating, so we came home to enjoy our delicious meals. Everything was cooked to perfection! We will definitely come back!

I gave it five stars because it deserves it.
The chicken sandwich is so good I had three in a week & a half.

My only gripe, the only thing. They only give you three ketchup packets. The massive amount of fries they give you required at minimum five ketchup packets.

But, the sandwich is 5 star. Haven Hot flavor is the best.

Also, don’t call Hot Haven, that’s a yoga studio. Found that out when I tried to order a chicken sandwich over the phone from them.

This is the first time I've had hot chicken so I don't have much to compare to. But let me tell you, their chicken sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. First of all, they use a whole chicken breast for each sandwich. That's a lot of meat. And the seasoning and spice is out of this world. I got the hot flavor, and I don't regret it. I'm a huge fan of spicy food so I was genuinely surprised when I felt the heat from this sandwich. The cherry on top of this delicious chicken sandwich was that it was all Halal. Overall, very impressed. I highly recommend Haven Hot Chicken if you're in the area.

Incredible hot chicken sandwich. This place serves gourmet quality food disguised in a fast food presentation. The piece of chicken was very generous, perfectly cooked, and truly ‘hot’. For those of you who crave a real spicy sandwich this place is the best I’ve had in New Haven. The one recommendation I have is to ask for light salt on the fries; they tend to be overly generous with that.
