Poppy's Coffee and Kitchen

What a neighborhood gem!!! Coffee selection is amazing. They roast their own beans. Bonus you can purchase it take home. My avocado toast with the crunchy spicy topping was delicious. Everyone's brunch was so good!! We are coming back.

Was so excited to see poppy’s opened! We only ordered iced coffees, but they were great. The interior design is very beautiful and creative. The best part was getting to speak to the owner and learn about the coffee roasting process (which is in house!) and hear a bit more about the story behind the scenes. Excited to go back soon!

Beyond excited that this place opened! Such a great location for the perfect breakfast/coffee spot. The staff is super-friendly and knowledgeable. The food! THE FOOD! Best breakfast sandwich and they have meat alternatives! The cold brew was perfection.
The place itself is relaxed and prime for meet-ups or enjoying a drink with a good book.
This place will certain be the go-to for many, so get there before the line is too long!

I went there twice and for a new place probably still working out the kinks, I enjoyed it very much. I had an egg sandwich and an omelette which were tasty. The toast and potatoes were very good. Everything was fresh and everyone was friendly. I will definitely go back.

Amazing new coffee shop and breakfast/brunch/lunch destination! We’ve gone for breakfast twice now and each time have had exceptionally delicious food and friendly service. We also love the ambiance on the outdoor patio area and inside too. I’m so glad to have such a great place to go for food and coffee that is walking distance from Yale SOM!
