“Capone's was vibrant and busy at 6 PM on a Wednesday night. It seemed a little chaotic, but food was churning out. Like some pizza places in the area, you probably need to add 10 minutes to the pick up time quoted on the phone if you dont want to stand around. My pizza was good, but I wouldn't call it great. I found the center of the pie to be a little soggy in contrast to a pretty crunchy crust rim. My preference is a chewy outer crust vice a crunchy one. Not a bad pizza at all. Just not my ideal. The people were nice and the large pizza is HUGE, so value is pretty good.”

“Amazing food, huge portions, and good prices. Definitely check out the specials, as there's bound to be some awesome stuff there. Went there with a group and everything we ordered was awesome (breakfast burrito, buckwheat pancakes, shrimp and grits, steak and gravy, omelet, corn bread). Staff was also super friendly and attentive. It is cash only, though there is an ATM on site. Parking and seating are limited so plan accordingly.”

“We ordered a lg cheese pizza with mushrooms, olives and green peppers. It tasted good, but it was pretty skimpy on the cheese. Toppings weren’t that generous either. Crust was pretty thin; good it you like that nasty New Haven style pizza. We’ll try again with extra cheese and see if that helps.”

“Good for take out only. I used to go here as a kid probably 30 years ago. I still go as an adult occasionally. Nothing has changed. The gumball machines are still there though not maintained. The menu pics have not changed, same art on the wall. The food is pretty good. A little on the expensive side and not a great location for foot traffic. Though if you're getting take out by all means give it a shot.”

They make the best stuffed breads in Connecticut and the fresh baked rolls are incredible. I also hosted a Christmas party in their party room and everything went so well.
