Castello of Niantic

My favorite place in Niantic. Great food, even better service. Best vodka sauce

I gave it a 3 because we have are ups and downs here. Great service,but the restaurant where you can eat is smaller now due to them putting in a bar. Most Times the waiters have a hard time getting through tables especially when it's a little busier. If that happens guess who gets bumped while you are eating? I have tons of allergies and they don't always listen to what is being written down or the waitress isn't relaying it properly. For example. Ordered a pizza asked for three things on it. That's it. Came out took one bite and it was spicy and it appeared to have a sauce on it. Of course I had allergic reaction. They offered to remake it but it's not worth it because I already waited awhile to get that pizza. Plus now I have hives. I will say the best thing is the grinder rolls not sure if you will get it made to your liking but the bread is good. We have eaten here numerous times so we have given it many chances and they have a hard time with plain. No pepper means no pepper. After many reactions and discomfort time to move on. Plus after they mess up they still expect you to pay for it.

Food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly and very good! I would highly recommend! My daughter had braised short ribs that she said were the best she's ever had!

Great experience! Went there last night and enjoyed it! Having worked in places I could offer critique if the aim was high - however I felt they nailed the environment perfectly. Glad this is right down the road!
