“Went here for an early dinner and a couple of beers a few days back. Prices are about average. Beers selection was pretty good, and I think they’re all from Five Churches Brewing. We were seated facing the entrance corridor and our view was of a wooden barrier which I thought was odd. Service was pretty good. The pretzel was better than the entrees”

“We had a wonderful dining experience this evening. They were very busy and some would say the service was slow but the short wait between course's allowed us to dine and talk with our friend who we had not seen in a while. Our menu choices were artistically plated and delicious. So nice Candace and Bunny are here in Niantic and I wish them great success in their new location. “If anyone like Thanksgiving type food all year long like I do go get their Thanksgiving Sandwich... It is such a treat when craving turkey stuffing and cranberry...yummy. It a taste explosion especially with the tart cranberry sauce. It's toasted and on great bread. Also you also get a pickle and a side of potato salad. Great lunch or try their breakfast sandwiches and baked goods...I recommend the Raspberry cookies. Totally worth it.”

“If you are passing through (or near) Niantic, CT, get off the highway, and stop at Skippers. Sit outside, look out over the water, and enjoy the sea breeze, and the great food you are going to get. Go simple with the fresh fish sandwich. In addition to being very affordable, it is super tasty. I like to pair it with sweet potatoes fries. They are crispy. If you want something more, then go for the larger fried fish platter or the fried scallops. They are both fabulous. Skippers is open year around, so you can enjoy it on every trip.”

“Enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch here. Had the Spring Tart. Delicious with fresh grilled fiddleheads, vegetables, creamy goat cheese, and two farm fresh eggs over-easy on top, all on a puff pastry, and hash browns and homemade sourdough toast with extra sweet cream butter. My daughter enjoyed the Buddha Bowl filled with grilled vegetables (ask for an egg on top if you're not vegan), and a side of real bacon. We both had generous cups of some really good coffee. Strong and smooth. The creamer and extra butter came out in adorable little ceramic vessels. Great local healthy food, unobtrusive yet courteous service and local artisan touches on the table and decor make for a dining experience good enough to go back for more. Go. Eat. Enjoy. Repeat.”

“This place has a great atmosphere and the food was tasty. Very prompt service. The only thing that we don't terribly enjoy is the handicapp entrance is actually in the back of the building and you need to ring a doorbell for someone to actually let you in. When we got there the doorbell wasn't there. If you are in a wheelchair and you want to be independent and eat on your own..Tough luck,but if you bring someone they can walk all the way to the front of the building and let you in the back. Once you actually can get inside then the meal was good.”
