Daddy's Noodle Bar was an excellent experience. The menu is not overly complicated but they did each dish well. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Very friendly atmosphere overall. The only thing I had an issue with is that there was no merchandise, I would have loved to buy a shirt or souvenir.
Crab Rangoons and Spring Rolls were very good. Decent bowl of soup for the shoreline. Left some to be desired- the flavor was lacking a bit, and my brother and I left not feeling very full. I think there could be more noodles for sure. We joked afterwards that it smelled better inside than it tasted.
My first time going, was kind of dead but given the time of day in day of the week I could understand that. I had Daddy's shoyu paitan. The chicken was dry, broth had no real body to it's flavor; pretty one note, you can tell the egg had been sitting in the broth for some time. It was not white and the yolk was overcooked. All around I give the dish a 3 and the service a 4. I did enjoy the atmosphere. My waiter didn't hover around me which is always a plus.
Excellent experience. Friendly greeting, kept my water cup filled, hot food, arrived quickly. Will go again anytime. If you are unfamiliar with this type of food try the Pork Dumplings to start. Safe bet.
Amazing food. Great service. Wonderful atmosphere. Really glad that we’ve got a tasty Vietnamese place in town now. 10 times better than having a five guys there.
