Excellent! Very good food and pleasant staff! I recommend the Asian and Sea foods. Good regular coffee and desserts too.

Foxwoods just unveiled the brand new dining experience at the Rainmaker Buffet. The new buffet features a sleek design that is much more modern and bright than the old buffet. It’s such an improvement.

New foods include Asian noodle soups, hand-tossed salads, and pizza slices from pies pulled right from the oven, a deluxe meat carving station, and New England seafood bar with endless fresh crab, oysters, mussels and seafood salad. A wide selection of cocktails have been added including Bloody Mary’s, mimosas, domestic and imported beer, and featured wines by the glass. Check out the massive dessert section with hand-dipped ice cream and a flowing chocolate fountain to round out your dinner.

Rainmaker buffet, beautiful, food was good but barely warm. Serving dishes with short ladles aren't making it, with handles ending up in food. Festival did a better job keeping food warm. Still really new, hoping issues get addressed.

The buffet is open again. It has been renamed Rain maker buffet and you will not recognize the place! It is bright and airy with a modern look that matches the Atrium bar. Being brand new, everything is clean and spotless. I think the workers are happy to be back. Everyone was friendly. You have open areas that can see back to the kitchens...little glimpses. I had breakfast. The omelette was the best I've had in a long time. They must cook in butter, lots of fillings to add in. I love hash browns and they had the delicious shredded potatoes. Everything you would expect for a breakfast buffet and, desserts are yummy. I had some type of flaky pastry with chocolate. It was flaky! For a first visit I only complaint is the chairs do not slide on the carpet smoothly but this first meal makes me want to go for lunch or dinner in the future.
