Captain Scott's Lobster Dock

Not so good. Lobster chewy. Hot lobster sandwich not hot. Bread for it soggy. Fried shrimp was amazing!!! Lobster Bisque no flavor and not enough lobster. Came from Texas expected more than the reviews given. People stop telling half truths!!!

I miss the seafood since I developed an allergy! However, I am still able to eat here with my family - they are great at protecting the “landlubbers’” menu from cross-contamination with shellfish. I satisfy myself with chicken tenders fried in separate oil from shellfish. The ice cream is delicious and comes in generous (but not insane) scoops. The french fries were different the last time I ate here and I didn’t like them as much, but every other time they’ve been delicious. And the coleslaw that comes as a side for many meals is fabulous too.
This restaurant can get loud, with outdoor seating nestled between train tracks and a marina, but the breeze and evening sunshine are wonderful. The alley you drive down to reach the parking lot is better marked than it used to be - trust the directions! Wait times can be long, because the food is worth it.

The food is fantastic! Tucked away behind some warehouses, this gem is worth a visit. Nice selection of seafood combos with hot fresh entrees served. Plenty of outdoor seating with several covered pavilions to use in inclement weather. The wait on a Thursday afternoon was short and the service was friendly.

This was one of the places I have been meaning to stop in for many years and I am glad to have finally experienced it. The weather wasn't but it was all worth it. If you are a foodie and love some great lobster rolls this is it. Try it for yourself.

Excellent food! The fried shrimp are the best I've eaten anywhere. The seafood is incredibly fresh. Order takers are very pleasant! I'd like to suggest that they offer seating to guests while waiting on line to order ! I eat here with friends regularly and there is always a 20 to 30 minute wait to order. Standing in one place for that amount of time can be difficult especially for elderly or folks with any medical concerns. Benches would be easy enough...
