“What a great addition to New London’s Bank Street! Everything was so fresh and tasty. They mentioned their fish is imported from Japan and you could taste the quality! “First time tonight we tried Tuskers. This beautiful restaurant is beyond amazing. The food is top notch, the way they prepare and present your plate is top notch! The food flavoring is perfection! The portions are kind but not heavy. You want to dig in but also take your time to enjoy every bite. The staff are very professional and so kind. The atmosphere is cozy, the temperature was perfect inside for a chilly evening and it was peaceful, even though it was a full house. The world did not seem to exist once ypu step inside. The lighting is exquisite and a band was playing but the music wasn't obnoxiously loud. We enjoyed our time and will return again and again. I think they should ( just my opinion) put lounge chairs where the high tops are). But if you're just going for a cocktail then they're good. But the table tops are small and that is probably because the place isn't large but you have enough room still. I was glad we were able to sit in the lounge chairs though. Still 5 stars! “This was our first time going to College Pizza, and happy to say that we will be going back soon! We ordered curbside delivery, and their time estimate for when it would be ready was accurate to the minute. Someone brought the pizza right out to our car which was so nice. We live right around the corner so it’s great to know there’s a local place that does great pizza (other than RR) in the neighborhood! Their large veggie pizza was loaded with toppings and super delicious. All the veggies tasted fresh. The only thing I could have liked to see is a bit more sauce, but the fresh chunked tomatoes hit the spot! Your recipe is on point! Thanks!”

We also had the chicken mofongo we asked if they could make it without the pork and they did and it was delicious as well ,very good portions and price. “So thrilled to have it back open - and with amazing food! We are incredibly privileged to live nearby. I grew up coming here and just brought my daughter for her first experience. Service was excellent, the food came out quickly and all 7 of us had excellent meals and appetizers. Our kid was even eating handfuls of clams linguini. Great vibe, very laid back and friendly with delicious food. Looking forward to seeing how they continue to grow! We came early at 5:30pm because we had a kid with us and it was still starting to get very busy by the time we left. Definitely a destination spot in New London already.”

“Been going here since it originally opened for as long as I could remember. Food was always good. Then when it closed it was upsetting. When I heard it was reopening as well as the lighthouse inn(later on in possibly 2023 in late summer) I was thrilled. So I had gone a few days after opening. The food was alright and they only had some beer and wine options. Now as of the time of reviewing and returning after several trips since reopening, they gave their liquor license and the food has significantly improved. I'd suggest the clam chowder, tavern burger, NY Strip, their salads, and the brownie cheese cake. Obviously they have many other good options. The one I'd suggest to maybe pass on it the fried chicken sandwich. The crust holds onto to much grease and it a off putting taste. Maybe they will try a different flour or breading for it but for that item I'd suggest to pass. Their adult liquor drinks can be on the strong side so be for warned. If that's okay with you then great. I don't mind it especially after a long day/week. But the staff and all who work there is fantastic from the hosts to the servers especially the people that make the drinks like Liz and Steve. So next time your in the area please give them a try. The prices vary from about $10-$32 I believe which is the NY strip steak. You won't be hopefully disappointed. Tell them I sent ya.”

“My family in Connecticut told me about this new place and I decided to surprise them to take them there, I contacted the business staff by phone and they reserved a table for them. They ordered Seafood Platter and they really liked it, they liked the accompanying drinks a lot, my vegetarian cousin found an ideal dish for her. The place has a ramp for wheelchair access and there is also entrance from the parking lot. I was able to invite my family easily because they accepted electronic payment. My family told me that the biosecurity protocols were adequate, that the music is set and that the decoration is spectacular. I hope I can go to eat there when I visit them, I hope they have a very faithful taste of the country of origin. The attention was quite friendly and they have left me a very positive image.
