Flour Shop Bagels

The flour shop set us right up with a huge platter for a brunch we were hosting. Everyone grabbed a bagel for the road after because they wanted to try all the flavors. Thanks for being a constantly great breakfast spot!!! And don’t skip out on the pizza bagels 🤤

I’ve been hearing about this place for what seems like forever so I finally had to take the drive to see what it’s all about.

Sometimes you see a place that has insane ratings and they just can’t live up to the hype. This isn’t one of those places. I went in on a busy Saturday morning—line out the door—and thought “hey, maybe it is that good!” It was.

They are set up for counter service, 10 types of bagels set up behind the bar, and an open kitchen where you can see the magic happen. Service was friendly, helpful, and quick. I got an iced maple latte, a #3 (bacon egg and cheese with maple butter) and a jalapeno havarti bagel to take home.

After I ate, I waited in line all over again to get a dozen to bring home.

Excellent, excellent bagels. Jalapeño Havarti is sublime. Warm and chewy with great flavor. Wish there was more cream cheese but that’s a personal preference. Beyond that this is probably the best bagel I’ve ever had. Place is super cute too! Can’t wait to go back and try one of the breakfast sandwiches and every other bagel flavor they have.

Best bagel in all of mystic and stonington ! Tasty flavors like cheddar, Sesame Parmesan, etc but also all the classics. Delicious pastries and crazy good cold brew. Personally, I’d love more filling on the BEC sandwich but that’s because I’m from Brooklyn lol the sandwich SLAPS! Def a must try and get some bagels to take home.

Tried the flour shop for the first time and we were not disappointed! Best bagels in town- so fresh and the everything bagel was loaded with toppings. The cold brew iced coffee comes with coffee iced cubes- definitely recommend the vanilla oat milk.
