Fat Tuna

Had dinner and drinks after sailing all day. Ordered the lobster roll, $28 I Believe. Came hot buttered with fries and slaw. The lobster tasted great. Seemed fresh and was sweet. Fries were crispy and the slaw was good. It may have been the beer after all day in the sun but this was a great lobster. Way better than crabby Al's and better than Oar Weed in Maine, at 60% of the price. No need to ever go back to Oar Weed. Also had the crab cakes, they were good too, but I don't get them enough to critique. Sat out on the deck, overlooking the Niantic river, watching the sun set. Perfect atmosphere for me, and plenty of parking with by boat trailer.

The atmosphere and ambiance of Fat Tuna makes this place so enjoyable! Food is DELICIOUS, service is great and we can't wait until this fall when the fire pit area is open.

This restaurant is right by the water and it gave the feeling of being on vacation. I picked it randomly after a trip to a beach nearby, we sat outdoors so we could see the water. Service was friendly and food was delicious 😋 my picky eaters loved it. The prices are high, however I went there expecting that it would be, because seafood prices are high anywhere (for 3 people $143.21 including 15% tip) I got a fisherman’s platter, my son got a hot lobster roll and my daughter got crab cakes)

Fat Tuna is the perfect spot for summer in New England. It's right on the water and has a large bar that offers seats inside and on the patio. I admit I only had the calamari but it was fresh and fried perfectly so I enjoyed it very much. The staff and owner are very fun and pleasant. The cocktails are fantastic; ask for a mud slide, they seem to be everyone's favorite including one of their bar tenders!

10/10 experience. the decor is so cute & beachy. We were greeted by the host & were seated at a table by the window. Our server, Angelina was truly wonderful! I got the lobster ravioli as my entree and it was so delicious, my ravioli was even topped with pieces of lobster! I would recommend this place to anyone for any occasion!
