Coventry Lakeview is a nice place with great atmosphere and views. We had dinner out on the patio next to the lake with perfect weather. Our wait staff was good... Not great. Note: that it was very busy. The food here was very good. I didn't think it was great and the price was high for the quantity/quality. I would go back here to have a drink but I think I'll try eating somewhere else in the area.
The view on the patio was gorgeous but we weren’t happy with the food. We felt the menu wasn’t clear about what we were getting in terms of style of food. The salmon that comes on the risotto is apparently sliced raw salmon instead of cooked (I don’t eat raw fish) and the turkey on the BLT is not sliced, it’s filet style. Both were things we would not have ordered if we knew what we were getting, but accepted that we should probably have ordered something less adventurous for our first time here. Judging by other reviews I’m glad we didn’t voice any complaint when our waitress checked in.
Keeping in mind that it was Mother's day/graduation weekend, it was very noisy. Also, there was a limited menu with no substitutions. I ordered my steak medium but got raw/rare. I sent it back and received a whole new meal properly cooked... that was unexpected. However, the flavor of the meat was hidden by the seared exterior.
My wife's sangria was the best she ever had... lots of fruit.
The setting on the lake is pretty. We will go back when it's warmer and we can sit outside.
Service was good.
Beautiful property, new chef and new menu. We have visited this restaurant many times over the past few years. It is an absolutely beautiful place to visit both inside and out. Since our last visit, the menu has dramatically improved. We visited last night to see Bruce John live, and figured we would have an opportunity to sample the new menu. We were quite pleasantly surprised by both the food menu and the beverage menu! There were more really good beers on tap than previously, and the wine list appeared to have gotten larger as well. The food was very good and so was the service. Looking forward to returning, which is something that I would not have said six months ago. The only downside is that the menu is a little pricey, but when you couple the facility with the improved menu, I guess you get what you pay for!
The restaurant has a new gourmet
Menu, lots of variety, something for everyone and the "Best"in the area. Also, Gluten Fee Option!
Good feel environment, friendly and relaxing.
One of the best lakeside patio around.
Around great place!
