“We decided to give Woke a try for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Right from the start, the waitstaff impressed us with their friendliness and attentive service. As for the food, it was truly excellent. I opted for the Woke Benedict, which is Eggs Benedict with Chorizo, and my son enjoyed the delightful Chocolate Chip Pancakes. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. In fact, even our friends couldn't help but comment on how delicious their own meals were. Woke is truly a hidden gem that I highly recommend trying out.”

“Really enjoyed the live music, The Leftovers. The hostesses and waitstaff were very friendly and apologetic when things weren't on point. Unfortunately, our drinks came late....it seemed that a lot of drinks were just sitting and waiting to be picked up by waitstaff. And then one of our entrees was barely lukewarm when it arrived. Waitstaff needs to get better at timing and window pickup (Should have been fully trained three weeks after opening - not an excuse). Would not recommend the Steak & Cheese...the meat was overcooked, and there wasn't even enough to cover the bread it was served on (very small portion), and again lukewarm. The wings were decent. With limited menu option, every entree should really be on point. Also, you need to advertise your buffet hours better. Great location and love overlooking the water, just need to improve on these areas. Hope you do, so we can keep coming and enjoying the music! (Also would love to see more seafood on the menu, especially being right on the water.)”

“Good thin crust pizza for North Coventry. A good alternative to the pizza next door, which I always found disappointing. Update: After the rebuild, it seems to me like the crust is not as good as I remember. It's more dry and crumbly, not as chewy. The grinders are not as good as those next door- they're kind of on the small side in terms of filling, and the bread is not that great. On the other hand, the salads are an amazing deal- huge and affordable!”

“Keeping in mind that it was Mother's day/graduation weekend, it was very noisy. Also, there was a limited menu with no substitutions. I ordered my steak medium but got raw/rare. I sent it back and received a whole new meal properly cooked... that was unexpected. However, the flavor of the meat was hidden by the seared exterior. My wife's sangria was the best she ever had... lots of fruit. The setting on the lake is pretty. We will go back when it's warmer and we can sit outside. Service was good.”
