Had an opportunity to visit Sticks and Stones following their renovation. So glad we did ( should have done it sooner)! The menu showcases a seasoned chef that knows the kitchen (young chefs should spend some time here, much to learn)! The food is top notch! So glad to have more dining options in the area! Prices are reasonable, cannot complain, food prices are what they are right now! If I could make one suggestion to the staff, you have a wonderful restaurant, stellar opportunity in this community, smile! You are the conduit to the great food! Be proud of what your serving and let it show. I understand serving is long, difficult and daunting work, but your smile allows us visiting to put away our day and be with you. Your smile changes our day and means so much, and represents what is behind the counter! Thank you for being here.
I visited from out of state and immediately felt welcome and comfortable in the cozy environment. There were plenty of menu options for everyone in addition to the separate chef's specials. You could tell everything was made with fresh ingredients with large portion sizes. Staff was friendly with excellent service. Ordered the Arancini, Sicilian salad, Seafood fra Diavolo, and the pistachio/ricotta dessert with coffee and everything was delicious. Very close to UConn as well. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Super cute spot just off the beaten path of campus! We had their giant arancini with pink vodka sauce crisped up in the air frier. WOW so so delicious. Their limoncello mascarpone cake was also to die for! Wish we still lived nearby so we could dine in for dinner. Staff was friendly, I spoke with Sebastian who was delightful and dedicated to making this spot a go to for students, families, visitors, faculty, and those just driving through the UConn. Good luck you all are killin it 💪🏽
My Loaded Omelet was hearty, cooked well and the potatoes were delicious. I wish they had more smoothie options. Regardless the Mango Peach was refreshing!
Will be coming back for dinner. There is a bar and mini shop in front. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for good atmosphere and service 👍
Overall a good experience, but their menu is VERY limited. They only had one type of bread, and only one type of tea. The serving sizes were good, but the options were very small. There were several tables and space inside was reasonable. The service was decent, but until the menu is improved I won't totally recommend going here. Has a lot of potential though.
