Rein's New York Style Deli

Rein's is great! Are you looking for good, real Deli food? This is the place.
The decor is cool. The restaurant is divided up into New York's boroughs... Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx... and the bathrooms are in Flushing!
The staff is lovely and well-versed in the menu.
I give this place full marks.

I grew up within an hour drive of New York so we spent many weekends in the city. A trip to Rein's is a walk down memory lane for me. It's the real deal. Matzo ball soup, tongue sandwiches, liver and onion sandwiches, You name it, they have it. I love this place. The last time I went for lunch the was about eight people ahead of us in line, but the line moved quickly and it was well worth the wait.

We love this dinner. Best NYC style dinner. Lots of great food dessert and candies. Service is great. It is a well known establishment so expect to wait. Most of the time there is a wait but moves fast.

Awesome. Food was terrific. I didn't expect them to have egg creams, but they did, and it was as good as New York 's egg creams, and that is saying a lot. The service was really great. The waitress was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. She made us feel that we were the only people she was taking care of. A very unique quality.

A true NY deli in CT. The wonderful aroma of half sour pickles fills the air when you walk in the door, and they are complimentary at the table. The menu is extensive and it was hard to decide what to have. And although we didn't have room, the dessert menu looked delicious. We stopped on our way to NJ and will stop again tomorrow on our way back to Boston. Strongly recommend!!
