“The experience you have depends on the employee. The store itself is well maintained and organized, some employees are happy and social, some clearly don't want to be there and it shows. To be fair to them, this is a tough area. For every one normal customer they get, they get one that tries to steal or yells at them for things they don't have control of. No one every emphasizes with convenience store employees, but statistically more bad things (shoplifting, robberies, assault, etc) happen in convenience stores than any other subgenre of retail/food service. After years and years of this, very few people can maintain a love for their fellow human beings. Give then the benefit of the doubt, you have no idea the crazy stuff they've seen.”

“This Starbucks is located in downtown area of Storrs, CT. Very close to the main campus of University of Connecticut, or UConn, and right on state route 95. They have great service, baristas have changed over time, but all those I met were polite, patient and well informed. I visited the store frequently prior to the lockdown, and also have picked up my mobile orders from there once the lockdown was relaxed a bit. The drinks i had were delicious as one would expect from a Starbucks. It has a decent size sitting area, both indoors and outdoors, great ambience, pleasant location. But, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the sit down areas were closed and only mobile orders and pick-ups were being offered, understably so. However, their quality of drinks and service is still really good, considering the current limitations. The bulk of its customer's are either students, faculty or staff at UConn, with occasional travellers on route 95. Once it reopens completely, it'd be a great place within walking distance of the campus for students, faculty and staff, to have casual meetings, or sit down and work on your laptop. I hope it remains solvent and can continues to operate past this difficult time of the covid-19 pandemic.”

“Very cute place with great indoor and outdoor seating. Their ice cream is ridiculous, it's so yummy. Very original flavors. They also have a "Milk Bar" that you can sample different milks from. It was so good, I think I drank half a gallon of milk. Flavors on tap that day were: half and half, whole milk, chocolate, strawberry, caramel and root beer. Yummy all around.”

If you want cappuccino, espresso, or other coffee drinks that taste just like in Italy, this is the place! If you are in or passing through New England, this shop is about 4 miles right off I-84 near the Massachusetts border. You cannot go wrong with their selection of coffees, teas, baked goods and gluten free items, sandwiches, and breakfast. This cozy shop on the main street is surrounded by shops, right on the pretty river, and even has art and poetry for sale. An absolute delite and worth the trip!”
