The Countrie Eatery

Nice small joint to come and eat breakfast. I recommend if you're in the area for sure. Their sweet potato pancakes are great!

First time to eat there. Food and service were really great. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we did. Real great view of the lake behind the restaurant. We will be back and the prices were very reasonable

The food was excellent. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Only thing is make sure you have a reservation on Sunday morning or you could wait a while.

Countrie Eatery is that elusive diner/restaurant that you want to have in your hometown but only seem able to find on the road. We were passing through Dover and made the stop after a random selection. Nice views of the lake from a lot of the tables, and clearly a local crowd fill the dining room. I wasn't overly impressed with the soup, but the entrees were pretty good. Liver and onions was filling, even in the smaller quantity, and the fried chicken was surprisingly good for a place this far north. Serve was attentive without being overbearing. Prices are reasonable for what you get. If the Countrie Eatery were near my home, this would be a weekly stop for me!

Can’t beat this home style cooking and traditional breakfast. We have been eating here for 30 years. Food is delicious... my favorite is the Country Eatery omelette with homemade grits and scrapple. The wait staff is always kind & views of the lake are beautiful.
