I first visited dolce a few months ago and got hooked on their specialty coffee and açaí bowls. When we decided on a small, intimate wedding and wanted to stay local, Dolce was the first spot I thought of for our wedding desserts. I reached out to them and they were more than accommodating! I wound up purchasing a dozen cupcakes in their Red Velvet flavor, their Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup flavor, and then requested a banana’s foster flavor, which they were also able to accommodate. I mean LOOK at the beauty and skill that went in to just the looks of the cupcakes alone! Let me tell you, the taste is even better. Heavenly and moist and flavorful…everything you can ask a cupcake to be. If you are local to Milford or even just passing through, do yourself a favor and check out Dolce. If you see something that looks good to you, I guarantee that it will be everything you were looking for!”

“Tiny breakfast and lunch place; deli/cafe. Perfect omelet, better than average sausage links. Decent coffee. Basic stuff done well. Take out or eat in. Adequate menu with a few gaps. Low to modest prices. Lovely views right on river bank. Nicely decorated. Pleasant outside seating in season. No wait staff; order at counter and they bring it to table. Attentive staff. Open year round. New (Oct 2018), so working out some of the details. Well worth a visit.”
