Lettie's Kitchen

Lettie's is known for their takeout fried chicken. They do have an assortment of soups / salads / sandwiches as well, but sandwiches are a bit on the small side. There is also a deli counter of fresh made side dishes. Not really a place to eat-in , but they do have a few tables, which most likely be taken by locals eating their lunch. Parking is also close to non-existent (4 spaces + a driveway).

What a great little place. We ordered take out here for six of us in our family and we ordered ahead arrived and the food was right on time. My son liked the mac and cheese my aunt and uncle loved the meatloaf and is their usual favorite. And I had fried chicken which was really tasty. I would definitely go back to this establishment again and kudos to the chefs who make all the food homemade and from scratch

Probably the best piece of fried chicken I have ever eaten. The cook was perfect with a crisp skin over tender, juicy interior. The only imperfection was a little extra salt in the batter. The mashed were great and I also enjoyed a mixed veg in vinaigrette. Many side options available to choose, including home made desserts. There was a steady traffic in takeout.
All chicken is cooked to order so plan on a twenty minute wait to be served. Friendly, accommodating staff.

We have been customers since Lettie's opened. The food is always delicious, fresh and homemade. We have a 7 year tradition of ordering the special entree of beef tenderloin on Valentine's Day, which is a high-end restaurant quality entree, and we dine in our Dining Room without the craziness of the restaurants. Lettie's is the place for take out, meals, catering and special occasions. We love it, and whenever anyone hears we are having Lettie's on our table, they know it will be delicious!!!
