“Wow, HIDDEN GEM!!! We stopped for a quick lunch and were absolutely blown away by the food, all made fresh to order. The chips and salsa were fantastic while we waited and the guacamole was so fresh and perfect. But the TACOS!! The corn tortillas are hand made to order and are absolutely the best we had ever tasted. We had asada, chorizo, pastor and carnitas--all delicious and full of flavor. The service was so kind and attentive. We SO happy this is now in the neighborhood!”

“I have been to the Drip about a dozen times since moving to the area almost 2 years ago. I have always sat at the counter, and I have always ordered the same things: a 12 ounce mug of house coffee with cream and a breakfast burrito. While the staff is friendly and generally busy, I have found the service to be spotty. For instance, after ordering my coffee and burrito, the coffee and small pitcher of cream are delivered with dispatch. Yet, half the time I haven’t been handed the napkin and flatware. What am I supposed to stir my coffee with after adding the cream? Training of the staff should make the delivery of the flatware automatic after the order. Also, about half the time I am cheerfully asked if I want a refill on my coffee (I have never had a full refill because I’ve never finished my coffee at the times I have been asked.) or a “top-off”. I appreciate the top off, but, as I said, it has been offered only half the time. I wish this was a standard operating procedure—at least for house coffee at the counter. However, the prices are reasonable so, regardless of how great or average the service has been, I always leave 18-20% tip in cash.”

“I was having a road trip with my mom and sisters in the area. We love Mexican food so we Googled places to eat nearby. We decided for The Tonalteca and it paid off. The decor is to die for, so colorful and full of live. Our server Juan was so profesional and courteous. The food felt so fresh with great flavor. My younger sister is very hard to please with her steak and she loved it. Even though we do not live in the area we are already making plans to go back. And I can definitely recommend trying their burgers. They are the best. I've been trying other locations for burgers. Some were even more expensive than here. However, these are top of my personal favorite burger list. All in all: Job well done! I'll be back.”

“This is really one of my favorite places to eat in Delaware, if not the region. The seasonal menu is well thought out with options for every taste. I would highly recommend the cheese board! The servers here are very knowledgeable about the food and the location is very welcoming. (The owners, exec chef and manager I believe, actually live here.) You can tell when you eat here that they put their heart and souls into the restaurant. Lunch update 2/28/2019: Enjoyed lunch here for the first time today. Typically we go for dinner, so I wondered what the lunch menu would look like. They had brunch and lunch options and I opted for the bacon bacon bacon burger with an egg added. It was absolutely delicious, although it was so big it was a little difficult to eat. Not that I'm complaining. I loved the little cornichons on top. The accompanying French fries were super crispy, perfectly salted and we're cooked to perfection. I am always been away by the dinners here, and lunch did not disappoint. Can't wait to return.”

“Lettie's is known for their takeout fried chicken. They do have an assortment of soups / salads / sandwiches as well, but sandwiches are a bit on the small side. There is also a deli counter of fresh made side dishes. Not really a place to eat-in , but they do have a few tables, which most likely be taken by locals eating their lunch. Parking is also close to non-existent (4 spaces + a driveway).”
