Food was very good but very pricey. Watch the bill closely, the waitress accidentally overcharged us on an already expensive bill.

Food was excellent. Decor was... unusual... Wine list was large and diverse.

Wednesday evening's dinner from the Prix Fixe menu, $35 for 3 courses, and $20 for a bottle of wine, the night before Valentine's Day, seemed like a great option but was not outstanding. It was never made clear (and I didn't think to ask) the entrees on the Prix Fixe menu were the smaller options, not the larger ones. We ordered the crab cakes, which while there were two, they were tiny and very dense/tightly packed (and overcooked??). One large one definitely would have been preferable. They were paired with very spicy accompaniments (think jambalaya) which to my palate overpowered the crab cakes. The mussels appetizer was delicious, and both the romaine salad and the beet salad were excellent. My husband thought the cheesecake was good (not to my taste, with too many competing elements) and the apple bread pudding was tender and tasty.

The wait staff was overly attentive (not always the case here) but truly, how many people should ask you if everything is as expected? (Not four, some more than once.) In their defense, they may have been prepping for a Valentine's Day crowd.

One last issue was indigestion lasting long after dinner. We didn't think we had made high-fat selections, and we didn't overeat (took home leftover dinner and dessert), but we're not normally uncomfortable after a dinner out.

Krazy Kat's is a lovely venue, and we will be back, but may ask more questions ahead of ordering to be better informed and improve the experience.

Easily one of the best restaurants in the Wilmington area. Well thought out and executed menu that usually has some kind of game. The wine list, while not extensive, is equally thought out and will satisfy your taste buds. A great place for special occasions.

It was very busy, we waited about 25-30 minutes for our table since it was Christmas eve. The swordfish was very tender. They brought the cheese plate, appetizer & soup all at the same time, I had to ask them to take the soup back until the app was done. The cheese portion on the cheese plate was extremely skimpy & was mostly non cheese items such as granola, fruit & jam. Not worth the money at all. Waited for the soup to come back for a long time & told her if the meal was coming to forget it. She said it wasn't & brought the soup but then the entrees came out minutes later. Delivery timing needs to be worked on so there's not multiple courses at the same time. The venison & mahimahi were good. I didn't really like the pork & onion appetizer but my husband did. Neither of us really liked the pumpkin crumb cake dessert, it was kind of hard. Server was very friendly & bubbly. It was a nice family time.
