Lestardo's Crab House

Food was wonderful. The place was understated from the outside and would be easy to miss entirely. The waitstaff was friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was enjoyable. Many patrons appeared to be the local crowd. We had a seafood platter, salad, and blue crabs. Everything was wonderful. The atmosphere was casual and kid friendly though a bit lively it's not a quiet place but not unreasonably loud either.

Love this place. Scallops were fresh! Fried to a golden crisp. Atmosphere is always great. Friendly people always!

Stopped in while driving between DC and NYC. Terrific crab, especially with the Old Bay seasoning. The appetizer crab cake was legit, no filler just crab. Casual atmosphere with plenty of tvs to watch a game. Our server was welcoming and when we asked, taught us a few crab cracking strategies, although as she said any way that works is equally great. Plus these were cooked to perfection, pretty easy to get the meat out.

So my coworkers and I all travel for work week in and week out...we always are looking for good places to eat and decided to look for a place for seafood tonight. Looking around at places, we found Lestardo's. we pull up in the parking lot and it we were a bit leary...definitely a hole in the wall look. BUT....

We walk in, the place had quite a few full tables of people with beautiful crab stacked high on the tables. Very simple, unassuming dining room.

A quick run through the menu revealed a lot of wonderful seafood options but the real star of the show was the crab offerings...you pick the size of crab you want and they give you the market price for a dozen. Very good deal for the money! We got half a dozen with the most delicious roasted garlic butter ever, and the other 6 were Old Bay seasoned.

The crab tasted fresh and a chat with our waitress Nicole spoke to how they are flown i fresh daily.

Absolutely fantastic food if you are a seafood lover. Some of the best crab I have had ever. Definitely added to my favorites list of a place I want to revisit again! And to top it off, it is a family run business.

Hats off, Lestardo's! This is a diamond in the rough out there.
