    Very well prepared food in a crowded Mexican food scene. There are many Mexican restaurants but this one is on top. Small and cozy place with friendly staff.

    Unassuming exterior gives way to an amazing foodery. Our new favorite Mexican joint. And we eat mexican a lot.

    Visited here with my finacé last week, and the food was awesome! I also want to speak to the integrity and character of the staff there. We stopped here while on a road trip, and I left my purse behind. I hadn't realized it until the next day, so I called the restaurant, and one of the workers confirmed that I left my purse at Taqueria Atexquita. Mr. Fernando Torres - the manager - was available via phone and email as I arranged for my purse to be picked up by a close friend. He was patient, accessible, and kind.

    In short, I got my purse back. So, not only is the FOOD good, but the PEOPLE are good. What a blessing. :)
