“I’m giving three stars because today in particular when I ordered I asked the guy what other toppings do you guys have besides pepperoni ? and he said “They’re the same as always” (like I’m some type of Papa Johns expert and I just know all the toppings by heart) and then it was a weird pause like he just didn’t want to tell me the other toppings then he listed the toppings really fast . Then when the food was delivered I got the hardest knock at the door like it was the police or something and I’m just like damn who tf .. and I feel like he did he knocked like that because I’ve ordered from Papa Johns a couple times and I don’t leave a tip and I’m wondering is that the reason why he knocked so hard also his attitude was just poor. Food is great , just need employees that are actually excited and seem like they enjoy their job .”

“I’ve had my ups and downs here but they really try and be accommodating. I live down the street, walking distance and pick up spicy shrimp and broccoli at least every other week. Today I’m having a particularly rough day due to a family death and I accidentally ordered beef instead of shrimp. She repeated it back to me and I agreed still not thinking straight. When I got home I realized my mistake and came back to see if it can be switched. She was so nice about it even though it was my mistake. I really needed an act of kindness today. Thank you! For the food and the kindness!”

“The only reason why it did not get 5 stars is because, I made a reservation for big party in their bigger room. I think they over booked it and put us in a corner with about 5 booth. Normally I would understand but one of the host told us we need to call in order to reserve room. Well I did that!!! I was really upset but here comes our waitress Rose. She calmed me down with a few pleasant words. She was one of the best waitresses I have ever had. She made some very good suggestions. Oh and the food was so so good. I had spaghetti n meatballs with sweet sausage, that was 5 star, and 3 can eat from that plate. So I will definitely come again but make sure I get confirmation on big room. Oh and will ask for rose or rosie. We even hugged at the end. Great family restaurant.”

The outside seating looked nice as well, but we sat in the breezeway, nice and bright from all the skylights. Our server, Leif, rounded out our experience; he is knowledgeable about the menu, where the products come from, and the history of the building - and a great deal of other interesting things! Leif, congratulations on getting your degree, but I don't wish you so much success that you won't stay on for at least one shift a week!”

“This is our go-to dinner spot when someones in town. I absolutely love the soft lighting, the music selection, and the HUGE beer selection. They even let you walk back to their fridges to take a look and see what you might like. And if you do like something bottled, you can buy it and bring it home. Some of the beers are served in pottery cups made by the tavern, and you can purchase one if you like them. The food is always great, I always suggest the meatloaf. Making a reservation is really easy on their website and worth the couple of minutes to do so, in my opinion.”

We stopped here while on a road trip, and I left my purse behind. I hadn't realized it until the next day, so I called the restaurant, and one of the workers confirmed that I left my purse at Taqueria Atexquita. Mr. Fernando Torres - the manager - was available via phone and email as I arranged for my purse to be picked up by a close friend. He was patient, accessible, and kind. In short, I got my purse back. So, not only is the FOOD good, but the PEOPLE are good. What a blessing. :)”
