Grain Craft Bar + Kitchen

Came for lunch today for the first time and I have to say this place was great! Huge beer selection and bar. Had the short rib grilled cheese with parmesan truffle fries and that thing was on point! Def will be back.

This is a good place for happy hour. The outdoor area was very nice especially with the good weather outside. The food was okay but the ambiance made it worth it.

I drank too many screwdrivers and got a stomachache. Besides that the brunch food is pretty good here. And it's a much more relaxed bar for it being in Newark right on main Street. So it's perfect because you can actually hear people talking

If you're looking to hold a private event at a local restaurant Grain is the place to do it. I was floored by the excellent service that I was provided with from Kelsey the moment I reached out to them. Kelsey made it a point to keep in contact with me notifying me of any and all changes or limitations that needed to be worked out. Kelsey came prepared with suggested solutions that she and her staff discussed and made my planning process much less stressful. now when it came to the big day, Rourke and Amanda were hands down the best servers I have ever experienced, no exaggeration. They helped me set up and decorate and when I needed to step out to address some last minute things my family, who came to help finish setting up, realized that Rourke and Amanda took the initiative and completed the tasks. They both were personable and friendly, I heard over and over again that they were excellent from my family and ultimately found a way to make each of the 30 members of my party feel special, especially the children. Both Rourke and Amanda cleaned up the party debris promptly and without a complaint. they kept a smile on the entire time and made me feel as comfortable. I tip my hat to Kelsey, Rourke, Amanda and the rest of the staff behind the scenes who helped make this experience amazing. Thank you Grain for going above and beyond.

I was absolutely blown away by this place!!! Warm friendly staff even at their busiest hour, food was amazing. Atmosphere was super cool. Highly recommend the crab nachos and grain flavored wings! The decor inside was great, they had a heated outdoor section that was really cool as well. Such a great touch to have the host/manager bring out some of the food and make sure everyone is feeling welcome. Even the wait for the table was entertaining, reading the specials on the chalk wall and imaginitive cocktail options! VERY, VERY WELL DONE!
