I've been going to this spot occasionally for -- I can't even recall how long now (decades?), and my food has always been great. Never had one problem. It is in no way fancy, but the portions are pretty hefty and the service is always friendly. I love the jambalaya and the seafood enchiladas.

Great place for a quick drink or bite to eat. They serve Mexican/Creole food. We've been going since they first opened. I used to work there and not much has changed over the years. Bar or table seating. Free chips and salsa, huge drinks, good food, amd inexpensive too. I love the atmosphere. Servers are always friendly. They do have some outdoor seating. It can get busy on holidays or weekends so make sure you get there with enough time to wait.

Super consistent in maintaining quality and flavors, at least in all my visits.
The good thing is the location, right next to Christiana Mall which is pretty much a must go for all Delaware visits. The ambience of the place gives it an interesting vibe and I remember it being busy every time I was there. Pricing was great and the best part as a tourist, no tax in DE.

Apr 20 2019 Saturday afternoon visit with svp. Had mango and regular margaritas, good portion and taste. Quick service. The music was a little loud. We shared Vegetarian fajita , we were satisfied. $55 bill.

I am Cajun and a Texan, so I've got the best of both worlds here. I also love good real Mexican comfort food. Just recently found out that there's a difference between real Mexican food and Tex-Mex food. The Border's food is fantastic, and it's a great place to have a good time. Don't come here, though, if you're looking for a nice, quiet place. It's fun!
