Tagpuan Restaurant Philippine Cuisine

My honey met one of the owners while out and about and he asked him to stop in sometime. We came in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We had never eaten Filipino food before, so we were offered a small sample. It was delicious. My lunch of pork Adobo and fried milk fish with rice was ridiculously tasty. He had a chicken dish which I forgot the name of that was in a tomato sauce and some chicken in a fragrant gingery broth. These were delicious as well. We often have gone to the Perkins in the same center and looked at Tagpuan but never thought to try it. Forget Perkins, we want to eat at Tagpuan again. The owners are so friendly and eager to please their customers and like to help you select your meal if you don't know what to order. Will definitely be repeat customers. Also they give very large portions.

Killer food. Nice people. Eating like you're in the Philippines. Be hungry!!

Stopped by for the first time today. I found this place recently on Google. The food was delicious and the staff was really friendly. They are really busy during dinner rush so make sure you order ahead or give yourself some time. Excited to go back.

I was lucky to have met Mary Lou & her dad. She had invited me to their Grand Opening where I met her husband Carlos (the chef/owner). The whole family is very nice & welcoming. Making dining even better! I’m so glad my family, my parents, & a friend from work showed up. The food is phenomenal! I am so happy there is a Filipino restaurant in town! I’ll be sure to be a regular & I will spread the great news to more people & friends!

A Unique experience in the Delaware State, a true taste of Filipino cuisine. The restaurant is located just off I-95 , an easy access. The food is delicious and heartily prepared by Caloy. You will feel right at home. A welcome addition to go to in Newark Delaware.
