What a great place! Friendly service too!

I drove by this place for years wondering what it could be like. Ive always had high hopes as it is very close to where I live. my feelings were that if the vibe was right, then it could be super convenient. My wife and daughter were away for the night so I stopped in. I was immediately disconcerted over the amount of older men who reaked of retired police. After a beer I realized that my stereotyping was on point. However, much to my surprise they were completely void of any pretention and remarkably friendly, hence this review. The bartender was attentive, and sociable. The regulars were comfortable, and non judgmental. Everything was clean and the prices were reasonable. Comfy seats and a smoking area out front. Plenty of parking too. This place rules.

Great place, except after getting a $25 tab, was informed they don't take credit/debit cards, only cash. Jeez! In this day and age? Guess cash is the only way left IRS can't track your revenue.

Possibly the best prices in North Delaware for food and drinks. Friendly crowd. I've been there on 3 Wednesdays so I've always had the same bartender (she is very nice).
The interior/decor is in keeping with a "hole-in-the-wall" bar with table service, but the bathrooms have been clean each time I've been there
