“I went to this place once. After I ate here I heard Jesus himself. He told me to save the children. I've been volunteering at the children's hospital ever since. I met a child there who wasn't feeling good, so I brought him back some food. The next day he qualified for the Olympics. The food here is perfection, made to order. No frills, or fear! Carmen has a great personality that shows in her cooking. It's a treat to have such a unique and authentic experience. I highly recommend as a volunteer children's doctor/Olympic coach.”

The food is highly seasoned, extremely flavourful, large portions, traditional Guyanese macaroni and cheese with mustard and mayonnaise cooked in. The curry options are superb. The owner does a good portion of the preparation and cooking as well as serving! Very impressive establishment, small sitting area though so good for short stops. Haven't had the roti yet but soon enough! That's what I have been waiting to try since I found out about this place last year.”

Loved how the hard taco shells were blue! If you get the cheesesteak, definitely spring the $3 extra for adding the walnut taco meat. The sandwich felt incomplete as it comes, even though it was tasty. I love these shirts they sell! The print on the sleeve is a great touch! I wish I had taken a picture of the food. I will definitely be back!”
