Ledo Pizza

Went to the new Ledo's in Bethany Beach this week. My wife and I got a medium pizza with pepperoni and sausage. We didn't wait long before it came out, and we loved it. It was just how we remembered the pizza. The staff was friendly and the owner even came to our table to ask how everything was. We told him it was delicious and we would definitely be coming back.

I am a long time Ledo fanatic, back from the original store in Adelphi during my University days at Maryland. We would frive to OC from Lewes for a pizza quite frequently. We got out first take out pizza on Tuesday, and I am sorry to report our dissatisfaction. I am not arguing with anyone that has had it and loved it (always better than Grottos) but it tastes nothing like a true Ledo’s pizza. The crust, instead of being very thin and almost pie-like was more like puff pastry. The original very distinctive sauce (king of spicy sweet was
lacking flavor-big time, and there was very little of it. Maybe it was soaked up by the puff pastry?
Hopefully this is just a “new store” problem. We’ll definitely try again after a while. We wish the new owners the best of luck for sure. But if you are going to use the Ledo name, you’ve got to make the grade.

I am going to start this review off by saying how grateful the working class of ocean view is for this location to open up some good jobs!

My family stopped in tonight to get some pizza to go! It is plunge weekend so I expected a wait, and happily did so! The and her bestfriend were serving tables and as a restaurant manager it was a delight to see them working so hard together & turning tables quick! We got a large cheese pizza & a small pepperoni pizza - now the pizza is not hand tossed but it is still delicious! Will be going back to try their wings, they smelled so good! The front of house team at the counter were very sweet, and let everyone know of the wait, and handled everything very well!

We had a fantastic 14" white pizza that didn't even make it home! The thin crust was amazing and so delicious! The new store is impressive and the staff and service wonderful!
