Grotto Pizza

Awesome place. Good food. Good staff

We love this pizza business. We try to eat at one of the many locations whenever we get to the beach. The calzons are my favorite, enough for a second meal. You can get slices or a whole pizza, salads and cheese stake subs. They serve beer and wine.

Been coming here for years. Pizza is better than most chains. Standard toppings on a thicker-than-Neapolitan (but still somewhat thin) crust. Standard draft beers with a couple of IPAs as well. Romaine wedge salad is pretty good, enough for two. Service is reasonable, but sometimes missing in action.

Outstanding pizza and awesome family spot for a quick bite or a filling dinner. The beer selection is good. The service can be inconsistent but our waitress was very nice and good with the kids. I have not been to a Grotto Pizza in 12 years and it did not disappoint. Same taste, same reputation.

Grotto Pizza has a standardized process for making their regular pizzas consistently good (not necessarily great) regardless of the location you patronize. Their white pizza, however, is consistently great with pronounced flavors of onion and garlic. The various locations always seem clean and orderly. Wait staff are usually friendly, helpful and attentive. Meals are often tabled in 10 minutes. With Grotto Pizza consistency is their strong point.
