Fabulous Food! They never disappoint! Everything on the menu is freakin outrageously delicious!

Have had bbq in just about every style there is and this was perfection. Fully-balanced pulled pork in both sweet/salt seasoning and pork flavor. Fresh slaw and lemonade were both 10/10. Sauces on the side & fantastic. Cornbread moist but not overly sweet. Took home a jar of homemade pickles to try. Put this place on your list. It tastes homemade from your favorite kitchen.

We absolutely love this place. Always excellent BBQ. If you like spicy, their homemade BBQ sauce needs to be bottled, it's that good. Go early on the weekend because they sell out fast. Excellent food and wonderful family run business.

Highly recommend this place. It is a food truck but all the cooking is done on premise in smokers/BBQ pits. Mouth watering pork and chicken, homemade sides of beans, coleslaw, corn bread etc. The entire staff were so pleasant explaining different things to me. You can take out or eat at their very clean picinic tables!
*** It's in a lot on the corner of Cave Neck Rd and Coastal Hwy.***

Hubby and I have been wanting to check this place out for years and thankfully the stars finally aligned a couple of weeks ago when we were in the area. We stopped by a little after lunch time and got 1/2 rack of ribs to share, baked beans, cole slaw, corn bread and a hot dog for our golden retriever. The 1/2 rack of ribs was colossal and felt like it weighed a couple of pounds - hubby and I could barely finish 1/2 of them. I usually am not a big fan of dry rubs but Smokin D'z changed all that in one bite, I did get a couple of their wet sauces for dipping and both were delicious, my favorite was the spicier one though. All of the sides were absolutely amazing and the corn bread was warm and moist. Hubby snuck a bite of our pup's hot dog and both agreed it was the bomb. The sweet tea is also a must.

We actually enjoyed this place so much that we stopped back the next day on our way back home to Baltimore to pick up some more ribs and sides. Pretty sad they are now closed for the season since we'll be back down at the end of the month but we will be counting the days till they reopen in 2022.

The staff here goes above and beyond and there are lots of covered outdoor seating and on the weekends they even have a live band plus there's a produce stand in the same lot if you need to pick up some fresh fruits and veggies.
