“We discovered this restaurant gem about six months ago and have returned many times. The food is varied and excellent. The service is usually friendly and efficient. On Saturday, February 2 we arrived at approximately 5:40 and noticed the dining room was very busy. . A young male waiter, who has served us in the past apologized for the confusion about which member of the wait staff was assigned to our table. After about 10 minutes the hostess gave us water and assured us our waitress would be over shortly. When our waitress finally came to our table she did not speak to us except to ask what we wanted. She did not go over the specials or even smile. We ordered an appetizer and drinks. She disappeared, but could be seen occasionally chatting with other tables. Again, a long wait. She did not return to ask if we wanted anything else until the appetizer arrived. We ordered entrees and she was gone again. When the entrees came, she did not smile, or ask if we would like anything else. She put them on the table and was gone again. We finished our meal and waited for her to return. After a long wait, the young waiter cleared our table and apologized again. We again waited to be asked if we wanted anything else but decided to get our bill whenever she returned. After another wait she put the bill on the table and disappeared. We had the bill on the table with a debit card inside, and waited half an hour for her to process it. She NEVER returned. We finally took the bill to the hostess, who was cleaning tables and asked her to take care of it so we could leave. The time was now 7:40. Two hours for a dinner and most of the time we were waiting. As we were leaving we noticed our waitress was chatting at a table in the porch area. When we were leaving the parking lot she was still chatting at that table. If this had been our first visit to this establishment we would not return. Fortunately, we enjoyed many previous visits. When we return again, if we are assigned to this waitress we will request other staff.”

“The staff was really nice. When we went, it wasn’t crowded. The homemade hot sauce was delicious. I’m vegan, and the vegan options here are a little boring. Mostly beans, rice, fajita veggies, and chips. I was a little upset that when I took cheese and sour cream off my entree, (so it was literally a tortilla filled with beans, and a taco with beans and lettuce), they STILL charged extra to add guacamole. There is a number of good vegetarian options. I think they could easily make this a vegan friendly restaurant if they tried. However, I am very grateful that they didn’t mess up our order. They didn’t accidentally put dairy in our food!”

“Stopped here on our road trip to ocean city for an early lunch. They were open at 11:30am unlike other seafood restaurants nearby. The service was wonderful and accommodating for allergies and gave great suggestions. The food was delicious and very fresh! Their raw bar was super fresh too. I’d definitely recommend this place!”

“My husband and I ate here for the third time in two months last night and this time we brought four friends with us. All I can say is this is a must do at the beach. Every bite of food we have put in our mouth has been prepared perfectly and deliciously. Get something fishy with the lemon butter sauce on it....it is absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I literally think I could drink it right out of the little container it comes in if it was socially acceptable. The french fries are absolutely to die for. Whether you get them plain or with some crab meat and cheese melted all over them. Somebody at your table needs to get those. Every entree comes with a wonderfully paired starch and vegetable. So far we have been privy to excellent service from three different Waiters. The coastal casual Decor is upscale without being fussy. Pricing is on the upper end but it's not unreasonable and truly it is worth every penny that you spend. I really am going to miss this once the tourist season begins because I'm sure the wait will be longer but I'm definitely enjoying every chance I can before Memorial Day. It will be worth the wait even after the season as every Rehoboth restaurant will have a bit of a wait w/o reservations! Definitely my favorite of the SoDel restaurants and cannot recommend enough... signed a local foodie ????????”

“Susan and her team did an amazing job on all the food for our daughter's wedding! The guests raved about it all night. Everything was fresh, moist, hot and delicious. The fish and steak was perfectly prepared on site. The salad's and veggies were fresh and the passed hors d'oeuvres all tasted as good as they looked. The food stations were beautifully done as well. There are also a fair amount if vegan options if you are traveling with someone who is on a vegan diet. “We really enjoyed our food from Wu's Kitchen. We asked for the shrimp curry to be cooked mild and it was just the right amount of spice. Also, the T7, teriyaki shrimp and steak, was delicious and I was happy to have the choice of brown rice with it. I cannot eat anything made with corn, and was pleasantly surprised to hear that they use potato starch instead of cornstarch. We will definitely get takeout from there again!”
