Dyllan's is exactly the kind of place I have in mind when I'm looking to spend a little extra for a premium dining experience. With the secluded entrance, the crackling fireplace, canal view, friendly staff, extensive and interesting menu, and quality of the food the price is well worth it. I would definitely recommend the tinned fish. Tinned fish may be new to the US, but my Mediterranean friends have been in on this secret for a long time. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back once it's warm enough to sit outside next to the water.

I'm always on the lookout for new restaurants in DC. I recently tried Dyllan's and couldn't have been more impressed.

Dyllan's opened in August of 2018 and they serve seafood and seasonal fares. Additionally, they have an extensive drink menu.

I came in for brunch with my wife and her friend for brunch. Seeing as we were starving we ordered right away. We got the cheese omelette, avocado toast, hanger steak burger, spicy tuna mango sushi rolls and the maple bourbon monkey bread. Everything was so incredibly good! We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely get everything again.

Our waiter was friendly, personable and helpful with the items on the menu. Our dishes were brought out to quickly and correctly. As for the restaurant itself. Although extremely new the management does an amazing job of keeping the restaurant clean and tidy. I definitely recommend this place to everyone! Keep up the great work Dyllan's! We'll be back soon!!

Going to a show at Blues Alley and went to Dyllan’s for an appetizer and drink. Crab dip was not on the menu, so we were going to leave,
but Chef Darren happened to be in close proximity and overheard the request. He said he would make it for us and even asked if we wanted traditional or something he could put his personal spin on it. We told him to put his spin on it and it was GREAT!!!! Loved the atmosphere and the crab dip was amazing. We will definitely return!!!

Wow! Yum! Great setting, great service, and great food. The server, Kevin, was awesome. The prices were good for what you get— I had a hangar steak sandwich, which came with sweet potato chips. The steak and bun were delish, and the chips were light as air. Great experience! (There could be some nice soft music outside, but that’s about it) :)
