    Had lunch there. The apmostphere is bright and elegant. The staff and service is warm and excellent. The food was delicious. The lamb is one of the best I've had. I'm a foodie and have eaten in many fine dining establishments. This place is a must in DC. Compliments to the chef and staff.

    Had the best experience at Lafayette. The service was phenomenal, and the food did not disappoint. Our server Clarence ensured we had the best experience, and the support staff was also on top of everything (Jean). The tuna tartare and strip steak were absolutely fantastic. can't wait to go back.

    Very good service and the food was pricey but equally very good. I got the wagu steak and a chocolate mousse dessert and enjoyed it very much.

    Wonderful. My husband and I made a reservation for our anniversary. The restaurant was beautiful with a view of the White House. Our waiter, Juan, was attentive and kind. The piano music was enjoyable. The food was delicious (especially the chocolate pumpkin dessert).

    Overall good experience. Excellent setting and ambiance. Our waiter was excellent. Food was good but not exceptional. Main course of duck was a little overcooked for my taste even after requesting medium rare. Dessert was the best course. Souffle was great.
