Flaming Yon was cooked perfectly (made them cook it medium) and servers were excellent. Definitely would go back soon.
Had an absolutely amazing time. Extremely attentive servers, incredible atmosphere and steak and a Mac and cheese that I'm pretty sure pushes the limits of the amount of dopamine taste buds should trigger in the brain. Couldn't recommend this place more. Also I think the butter rum I tried may be the start of a dangerous habit.
We came to Bourbon Steak for a bachelor party; the groom had always wanted to go, and opted to do an elegant dinner instead of the usual "bachelor party" type activity. Bourbon Steak really exceeded all of our expectations! When we arrived, we were informed that a party had cancelled and we were moved into a private dining room - which was, by itself, absolutely amazing. Greg immediately made recommendations for a cocktail, and walked us through everything we could need to know about the restaurant. He was incredibly thoughtful and thorough in offering suggestions (including table-side cocktails!), and answered all of our questions. He checked on us often, and made sure they were consistently meeting our expectations. Amanda, who was our main server, was absolutely wonderful with us; she was quick with suggestions, and was incredibly patient when we couldn't make up our minds.
The food! We each got a steak, some of us with accompaniments, all of us with sides. The quality of meat was incredible - once you cut through the sear, the knife cut through the meat like butter. The accompaniments were rich and delicious, and the sides were, in their own right, fantastic. The cocktails were excellent, and the whiskey selection was exhaustive.
Overall, we got more than we could have expected, and the groom had the time of his life. He is absolutely smitten and we cannot thank the restaurant, Greg, and Amanda enough for making us feel incredibly special.
